Sunday, October 27th, 2013 11:00am The Burlington Bell Community Fund is an endowed fund organized through the Main Street Foundation. Its mission is to support programs and projects that will enhance the lives of Burlington residents. The bell, donated by Robert Merriman to the citizens of Burlington, stands as a symbol for this permanent community fund. To date the BBCF has supported the Burlington Fuel Bank, the Burlington Food Bank, Safe Harbor Teen Center, and the Burlington Public Library. The Advisory Council of the Burlington Bell Community Fund is working to serve the needs of the town so that all citizens of the town "can make a difference in our own back yard." burlington5k
