Sunday afternoon I lost one of my dearest friends. Viola Shands went home in the arms of Jesus. It really is a celebration for her. She will greatly be missed by her family. She was a little lady that loved us so much. She would have given me the shirt off her back to make my life more comfortable. She taught my girls how to tie their shoes, and she spent hours reading with them. We vacationed together, shopped together, & went to church together. We already miss her so much. We have been so blessed by so many people stopping in to share stories. The food, the kind words, and the out pouring of love has meant so much. Visitation tonight at Roller Daniels Funeral Home in Searcy from 6-8. Funeral Weds. @ 1p.
