Sunday mornings are usually the best mornings for me. Not because - TopicsExpress

Sunday mornings are usually the best mornings for me. Not because I wake up thirty minutes later than I do on week days. Not because the fare to town goes down with ten shilings on such days. Not because I get to wear that top Ive been setting aside from Monday to Saturday. Not because of any of the above reasons, but because on Sunday mornings I get to go to a place where I can deposit the baggage that has piled up on me during the weak. I get to find a place from where I can collect grace enough to take me through the week and enable me tackle and handle anything that will come my way the coming week. So today morning while walking to the bus stage to catch a matatu to church, I was walking alongside a couple on this lonely path. They were walking together. I decided to take another path since I am not usually comfortable walking with strangers on lonely paths. This other path that I decided on, would still get me to the bus stage. I branched and walked on, leaving the couple on this other path. Ehen I got to the stage I spotted the couple approaching from the path they had taken. However, they were nolonger walking together as they were doing when I last saw them minutes ago. The man was a few metres ahead of the woman. I looked at them and concluded that either the man had increased his pace and left the woman behind, or the woman had slowed down and could not match the pace of the man. In our walk with God also, when we decide to get born again, we begin walking with God side by side, same pace. Then at some point, there comes a gap between us, such that God is walking ahead and we are many miles behind him. In this case however, it is usually because we slowed down in our walk with God. We decided to relax a bit, to put prayer or communication with God aside, to stop going to church for just a few Sundays... then a God walked on and left us behind. Let us purpose in our hearts that this coming year, there will not be a gap in our relationship with God. That we will walk with him same pace and even hold hands with him while walking. That he will not leave us behind because we will strive to always walk with him same pace... happy Sunday pals... am just thinking So today morning while walking to the bus stage,
