Today they are doing what they call a Bedside FEES by the speech therapist to evaluate the ability to swallow snd it not go into his lungs when he does. If this is passed an esophagram will be done tomorrow as he gets to swallow his first sip of liquid in 6 days this checks to see if there is any leakage around the connected sites.. He is up to the amount of tube feeding that is required of him also. God is Good!
