Sunnah acts & general acts for the day of Eid: 1) take a bath (ghusl) 2) wear clean clothes 3) eat dates (to confirm fasting has finished) before leaving to go to the mosque. 4) recite Eid Takbeer 5) take one path to the mosque then a different path home (so you can possibly meet & greet ppl) 6) preferably attend Eid salah outside in praying place (informed that Birchfield Park in Longsight is holding an outdoor Eid salah in the park). 7) read Eid salah and listen to the Khutba 8) greet each with Salam and good words 9) give gifts to one another and to children 10) share the celebration with neighbours (buy small gifts and speak about Eid & Islam to your neighbours). 11) contact family near & distant 12) contact new Muslims & reverts and share & care 13) make duaa for yourself, your family & the Ummah (especially in the war zones).
