Sunset I sat on the sand, Deep in thought And fascination. The compelling sight Of the setting sun. Gripped my attention. I was mesmerized by the splendor, The contrasting array. I peered At the multi-colored sky, While glued to the sand. The kaleidoscopic display Was a painter’s dream. Unaware of time, In peaceful calm, I relaxed. Like a monk in prayer I embraced the grandeur Of the sun in descent. One sudden dive, One greenish flash, And it was gone. Darkness Swallowed everything. And then There was light.
