Super gnarly day today! The cows had to have their vaccinations and needed fly treatment so we had to corral them into the cattle shoot and run them into the head gate which holds the cow in place while being worked on. The first one down the shoot, Pheobe, dove through the head gate and got stuck at the hip. Fanny and Mae were right behind her so we ended up with 2400lbs of pissed off cow in a ten foot section of cattle shoot. I gave the shots and poured the fly treatment on. We ended up getting Mae and Fanny to back out but had to get Pheobe unstuck which was pretty scary considering she was very angry.. After we got her out she charged Randall. He had to run and dive between the fencing to get away but she stepped on his foot before he got out. Crazy day, lol
