Super smart and stylish 1950s day dress, which I wish I could fit into! It has a flattering, very fitted and elongated bodice with three-quarter length cut in one sleeves and a high standing collar; and the full skirt has 8 gores/panels. The collar edge and sleeve edges are trimmed with white braid, and the front waist darts and front of the collar are decorated with adorable heart-shaped buttons. Centre back metal zip. Made by the collectable British label BLANES - label reads: For you by Blanes. Bust 37 ish - the cut in one sleeves makes this a little difficult to measure accurately Natural Waist 26 Dropped Waist/High Hip 30 Centre Back Bodice Length 18.75 excluding collar) Back Bodice Length from Mid-Shoulder 18 Skirt Length 25 (no hem to let down) Sleeve Width at Upper Arm 5.75 Sleeve Opening Width 4.5 In very good, strong, sturdy and wearable condition, with insignificant flaws. I believe it has been shortened from its original length, and it is no longer possible to take it back down. One tiny little fray to the right side seam. Very very slightly stretched stitches to the right bust. Slight iron-shine in one or two places, only visible in certain lights.
