Super successful shopping day at Valley Thrift Store -- I know some people like my thrift store stories 50 % Off Sale for Memorial Day . . . tons of stuff -- including 6 NICE collared knit shirts, a t shirt, a basketball jersey, a blue dress shirt, and a really nice vinyl pullover all for 4 cents each (not a misprint) plus a comforter for $1.99 !! books for 14 cents -- although I splurged and spent 99 cents on Mike Tysons new book Undisputed Truth and quite a few other assorted goodies, most in the 14 to 49 cent range . . . the comforter, at $1.99, was my high ticket item all told about 7-8 big bags for $14.44 I never buy pants here, since I dont want to fool with waiting in line for a changing room -- but I had an overwhelming nagging voice in my head tell me to just randomly pick out a pair of jeans most in my size were already gone but I walked over to the rack and picked up a size 32 long pair of black jeans, held them up for the length, long enough and thought, ok these are the ones, Im going to get these and not bother trying them on I had faith they were good but when I put them in the cart I felt something in the pocket -- turns out someone left $7.00 in their pocket and forget to empty their pocket before donating I pocketed the 7 dollars but, after some soul seraching, I put the pants back, since they would have been $1.99 I didnt want to be extravagant so with my Jesus loves me cause he TOLD me where He left money cash in hand, my 50 % Off Sale . . . happened twice :) so I actually got all that for $7.44 !! on an even happier note, as I was walking through the store I glanced up and saw my reflection and was sort of startled -- cause, no lie, I look about 10 years younger Retirement evidently suits me :) I am feeling so zen right now . . . what, really, can I say :)
