Superb defensive performance tonight and not just from Janis ..... in fact I think it was more down to those protecting Janis who were superb to a man. It was tough to generate offensive play for forty minutes as we were pinned back in our zone but, in fairness to the forwards and unlike last Sunday, the only reason they didnt score several goals in the last period was pure bad luck with the bounce and the deflections just not going our way. Janis and the D kept us in the game as they will in many tough games this season and we just have to find goals from somewhere ..... expect plenty more narrow wins but narrow wins are good by me and tonights was well deserved. Now carry on for a four point weekend !
