Supermom Day #6: Its been a rough day:(. Computer did something weird and I couldnt fix it - completely frozen and unable to shut down. Couldnt even call the Apple people to get help because their phone number was IN the computer. Spent an hour messing with it and finally headed to the Apple store. The kids were glad to see me go since I was being such a crab. The Apple guy took my computer and did exactly the same thing Id been doing for the past hour. The only difference is that when he did it, the computer worked perfectly. In five seconds flat. Fine. Better a damaged ego than a damaged computer. Returned home to discover that Id lost a bet. Not with one person. Or two. Or even three. No. I made the bet with FOUR different people. The worst part is that I made the bet because Im a Pollyanna - I assumed the best in a person. The other four people....well. They are realists. It is possible that I had accused them of being pessimists. He who laughs last and all.....well, they are laughing now. All the way to the numerous dinners that I will be purchasing. Fine. my computer hates me and now I owe the world a dinner. There is always a silver lining, so here it is..... Brito did a kiss ass moving stand on our first attempt. Good boy Brito. You can always count on a dog to make it better.
