{Support Sunday: Readers Question} Im currently living with my partner in a mining town with our 3 kids; 2 are at primary school and the youngest is almost 1. I have lived here for over 10 years but friends have moved on and I find myself excessively lonely and all of a sudden unable to form new friendships. I literally dont even have anyone nowadays I can just pop in on for a coffee. Its very depressing, and Im also finding the inconvenience of rural living getting to me more now than ever (unavailability of everyday items at the shop, very few weekend activities for me and the kids etc). Because of the impact its having on me we are considering FIFO, I will move to the big smoke (sort of) with the kids and hubby will commute for his 9/5 roster. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, pros/cons (other than the obvious living away from each other), if we do move how to transition the school kids smoothly (aged 6 and 8)....
