Support for a CCCUCC Seminarian The General Council has discussed the possibility of the church calling a seminary student to work at our church. Every minister in training is required to have field work in a ministry setting or church as a part of their seminary education. Churches that take a seminarian provide a valuable training ground for a future minister and benefit from having a student minister as a part of their church staff and community. A seminarian would be paid approximately $6000 per year for around 10 hours of work per week. Mark and Milly Mary Gingrich, former dedicated members of CCCUCC, have made a challenge pledge of $4000 towards paying a seminarian the first year and $3000 towards paying a seminarian the second year. Already we have met the challenge for the first year. As of June 9, we need $400 more for the second year. Even a small amount will help.
