Together we can achieve a lot of great things, as I have personally witnessed in Turkey and Lebanon in August while working with children of Syrian refugees. I dream of a more peaceful Middle East. And I know that I am not the only one. And I have lots of hope for a more peaceful Syria. After meeting with several Syrian peace activists in August, I am even more filled with hope and dedication to focus on constructive, nonviolent ways to deal with this conflict. I need your help to realize my dream. Help me to raise 8,000€ in the next 14 days so that I can bring young Syrian peace activists together to train them in conflict resolution skills and, once they go back, they can transfer these skills to their local communities and spread in this way a genuinely sustainable, nonviolent way to re-build the foundations of a great Syrian society. Give the Syrians hope to return to their country and for the prospect for a great future ! It is so rewarding to just be there for another human being who needs it the most. To share the love, to listen to and understand the other, to cry together, to have fun together, to engage in discussions together, to cook together, etc. Just being there for one another gives hope to humanity and to the prospect of a better, more peaceful, more united, more human world, even amidst all the cruelty that a lot of us deal with each day and that most of us witness through Facebook, news outlets or blogs.
