* Support to Rampaging Students Disturbing * A recent turn of events that led to mild and restrained action on the part of Police administration against the students demonstrating against the fees hike is really perturbing. Though I dont support police personnel manhandling students, I fully understand the situation they faced and things might have gone bizarre which might have prompted them to resort to what they deemed fit at that moment. What actually had me appalled was students pelting stones and creating chaos and blocking national highway, and people supporting this action is even more alarming!!! We should tell our students that the fees hike can be settled peacefully, but it is undemocratic and wrong to indulge in stone pelting and creating chaos and blocking highways!!! If we support students in their rampage like the one we witnessed, it will only bolster them and we will be condemned to face chaos, road blocks etc. even on the slightest disagreements on the part of students against administration in future.
