Supposed to rain all day and snow tonight so Im undecided about Minnie wearing her new clothes to the adoption event. She could care less, she likes being naked. As long as she has a lap to sit on, someone to scratch her head and rub her tummy, shes a happy little girl. Itll be a week tomorrow that Ive had her. She hasnt gone potty in the house, she fit right in with the other dogs, and she likes being outside in the yard until her feet get cold. She likes to jump in the shower and sleeps on dads pillow, except one night when she slept on top of her sheltie brother. Her border collie brother taught her to bark at the mailman. Minnie has been my therapy after losing Mickey. Like I said, Ive had her a day short of a week and if anyone is interested in her today, it will break my heart. I know that Ill have to let her go, but I also know that I wont, unless its a perfect fit. Today well see how she acts around strangers, if it scares her, then anyone wanting to adopt will have to make the drive to the boondocks to meet her in her surroundings. If its to far to drive, then they dont want her very bad. Im going to be very protective of her and where she goes. At the moment, shes on my lap snoring, Id be ok with that till the end of time.
