Sure is a pleasure to host LDS Missionaries. As I reflect on my past week...its been pretty busy. One of my highlights is making sure I look over the missionaries. The Elder Faitau Family gets to meet them every week on Thursdays. They serve full-time for the Lord, Jesus Christ. Of course they prepared themselves. So...when you see LDS Missionaries walkin along the street, doing their groceries, maybe their laundry, or riding their bikes, always in pairs; do me a favor...do us all a favor...please say hello. They leave the comforts of their homes, parents, siblings, known relatives & friends; volunteering their time to be with us. Us...as in people all over the world. They prove to truly care. Meet our missionaries in the Independence II Ward, Hillpark Ward, & YSA Wards of the Independence Stake: Left to right: (back row) Elder Javeloza (Oceanside, Calif), Elder Croft (Utah), Elder Nyholm (San Francisco, Calif), Elder Manusauloa (from Savaii, Samoa & then Spanish Fork, Utah), Elder Dalton (W. Jordan, Utah), Kapena Faitau (my son)/(front row) Sis. Forbush (Utah), Sis. Erikson (Idaho Falls, ID), Sis. Fonua (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif), Sis. Gunter (Palisades, ID). We bid farewell to Elder Valdez now transferd to Kaw River, Mo. & farewell to Elder Colemere transferd to Lee Summit, Mo. Life is good. We love the missionaries. Keep on keepin on all you wonderful missionaries. We...the Faitau know you as Gods Army. Golden!! (here ya go Carla...we are fortunate to have yours with us :)...the grand nephew to Pat Dalton; my father Tom Tuitalau Tongas sponsor...wow...life is good).
