Surf Reyes True leaders do not turn people into followers. True leaders inspire people to be flow-ers. To follow is to be separate from what you are following. To follow requires effort. To flow is to be one, or to be whole, with what is flowing. To flow is effortless. As I once wrote, in the flow of Spirit, The river eternally flows to the parent sea. Be as a leaf afloat on the crystal current; let go and trust the river...your inner Divine Self. To follow is a doing. To flow is a not-doing. Not-doing does not mean doing nothing...which is still a doing. Not-doing does not mean the absence of action. Only the absence of self-centered control and ownership of action. Not-doing is the action of the leaf afloat on the river, and as I wrote in a song: going round and round a-drifting, riding every ebb and flow. Going round the rocks a-turning, round the bend I just let go. Happily helpless am I, floating on the tide, and when the river turns to waterfall... I fall, with the rain from above, happily helplessly...in love.
