Survey to Seek Input from the Rogers-Lowell Community for Development of a New Community Action Plan Presents Unique Opportunity for Residents, Workers and Businesses to Help Build the Future of the Community and Its Quality of Life. The Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the City of Rogers and the City of Lowell have initiated a process to further enhance the communitys quality of life starting with an online survey released today that solicits input for development of a new community action plan. The survey is open to all residents, workers and businesses in the Rogers-Lowell area and available online until January 31 at rogerslowellvision. Raymond Burns, President and CEO of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, encourages the community to provide its feedback and ideas during this process and become an important part of creating a new vision for the communitys future. Burns said, Were asking our citizens to take advantage of this unique opportunity to give their input on how to make our community a more attractive place to live and work. We need their help to develop and realize that vision. The online survey makes it easy and convenient for everybody. Market Street Services, based in Atlanta, will facilitate the process resulting in the development of a new, holistic community action plan that will build upon the history and success of past strategic planning efforts such as Vision 2025. The online survey will help identify core issues facing the community and help define a consensus vision for the communitys future. The development of the community action plan consists of four phases: Stakeholder Input, Competitive Assessment, Community Action Plan and Implementation Guidelines. The process will last approximately six months and is set to conclude in July 2014. Development of a new community action plan is part of an ongoing effort to make the Rogers-Lowell area community as attractive and competitive as possible for new jobs, residents and corporate investment.
