Surveyors (Surveying Engineers) are urgently needed to work for a multinational Company working in the Petroleum Services Field. Job Summary: The role of the Junior Surveyor will involve accompanying and assisting the senior surveyors during offshore survey operations, including equipment mobilization, calibrations, data acquisition and demobilization. Onshore survey operations and office duties may also be required. The Junior Surveyor is expected to take an active interest in reading Company documentation relating to working procedures, systems and QHSE. Responsibilities: • Complies with appropriate Company QHSE procedures at all times. • Reviews and signs-off Job documentation as applicable (eg PEP). • Awareness of Company standard procedures (eg Work Instructions) • Attending appropriate Toolbox Talks, inductions, drills and meetings. • Assisting during vessel mobilizations and demobilizations. • Assist in performing calibrations of surface navigation and gyrocompass equipment. • Assist during vessel offset measurements. • Assist during data entry of online parameters. • Learn to operate the online system, including survey log, data QC and logging routines. • Assist during water column measurements (Temp/Salinity profiles). • Assist during acoustic calibrations (USBL, SBES, MBES etc.). • Responsible for submission of assigned tasks in the agreed and defined deadline. Qualifications: Graduation Qualification: • B.Sc. in Engineering in any of the following majors “Preferably from Ain Shams University, Cairo University, Alexandria University, Shoubra Engineering, AUC or GUC”: o Civil Engineering. o Surveying Engineering. Professional Qualifications: • Adobe Acrobat. • Computer Graphics. • AutoCAD 2D-3D/Programming. • Basic ArcGIS • Visual Basic Programming (VB 6, VB.NET) • MS Office application – Advanced Level. Job Requirements: • Excellent written and spoken English (Preferably Language school graduates). • Flexible to work offshore. • Years of Experience: 0-2 years. • Nationality: Egyptian. • Gender: Male. • Number of Vacancies: 3.
