Susan Boyle has collaborated with Elvis Presley for her upcoming Christmas Single. The Britains Got Talent star sings alongside a recording of the King of Rock and Roll on the track Oh Come All Ye Faithful. All royalties from the record will go to the charity Save The Children. Boyle told Sky News that becoming the first British artist to have a posthumous duet with Presley was a career highlight. Im very honoured, its a bit surreal, awe-inspiring and awesome, she said. Not everyone gets the chance to do a duet with him. She said she had always been a fan of the legendary artist. I remember his music being played in the house growing up quite a lot - and I used to love going to see some of his films, she said. In a recorded message at a central London news conference, where the single was announced, Britains Got Talent supremo Simon Cowell said he was proud of the star. No one of all the people Ive met has a bigger heart than you, he told her. Oh Come All Ye Faithful - which appears on Boyles fifth album, Home For Christmas - will be released on December 8.
