Susan Marie Merriman, 53, of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at her sisters home in St. Petersburg, Fla. She was born July 28, 1960, in Jacksonville, the daughter of James Everett and Frances Charlene Bailey Merriman. Surviving is one son, David (fiancée, Sarah Walker) Hogue, of Springfield; parents, James and Charlene Merriman, of Oxville; and a sister, Vicki Shultz, of St. Petersburg, Fla. One brother, David Merriman, and one sister, Debbie Mills, preceded her in death. Susan was a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. She enjoyed gardening and crafting. She was looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Daws Family Funeral Home in Winchester with interment in the Hillcrest Cemetery near Bluffs. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the .
