Suspect behind bomb threat to be named: Charbel November 29, 2013 12:10 PM The Daily Star BEIRUT: Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel said Friday that Lebanon would soon name the person allegedly behind the bomb threat that caused panic at a Beirut school Thursday. “We are tracking down the caller; and I assure everyone that we are on the right track and we will soon reveal the names of those involved,” Charbel told the local Future television channel. An anonymous caller warned College Protestant school Thursday of a nearby bomb. Authorities made a thorough search and no bomb was found. A security source had told The Daily Star that the caller demanded that the school as well as the nearby Saudi Embassy and other buildings be evacuated “because something dangerous is about to happen.” Charbel said the threat was aimed at the Saudi embassy, not the school.
