Sustainable Activism Workshop on Nonviolent Communication, with IDA Campaign Director Lisa Levinson & Instructor Dave Rubin In Defense of Animals for a Sustainable Activism Workshop on Nonviolent Communication, the first in a series designed to help animal activists with their noble work. Campaign Director Lisa Levinson will introduce IDA’s Sustainable Activism Campaign and Instructor Dave Rubin will teach Nonviolent Communication (NVC) skills to help you relate more compassionately with yourself and others. For information about Sustainable Activism, visit idausa.org/SustainableActivism. NVC provides thousands of activists with tools to help us connect with others even when we don’t agree with them. This workshop provides new strategies for vegans and animal activists who struggle with hopelessness, frustration, depression, guilt, anger, burnout, or exhaustion. Participants can ask questions, share their perspectives, and practice NVC techniques. They will leave with valuable leadership skills empowering them to influence others with compassion.
