Suzie was my heart case. They all are, but I knew the moment that I saw her she would be tough to get out… and no one gets out without a real Family in place here at FFF. A senior, obese, bully…and the worst part? Surrendered on December 23rd, the day before the holidays with family. With astonishing networking by friends, we were able to rescue 10 year old Suzie from Baldwin Park Shelter today! Kristin C Lucas simply shared my post, and her loving co-worker, Cecilia Araceli Villegas submitted her application immediately! It was a blur from there, as the ladies spent all morning at the shelter, drove a long drive to San Diego where they perfectly timed a drop in at an FFF photoshoot, and then it was off to headquarters for clean up & comfort! Guess what?! Suzie even has a new name already - Sunny! Mom said she needed a bright name for the bright future she has ahead! Thank you to a zillion passionate people who made this rescue possible, as each individual played an important part in Sunnys rescue!
