Swami Gururethnam Janana Thapaswi receives ‘Vishwakarama Keerthi Award – 2014’, installed by Kerala Vishwakarama Cultural Center. Kerala State Cultural Affairs Minister handed over the award to Swami at the function held at YMCA Hall, Trivandrum. Minister said that the swami works among the poor and deprived for their betterment while breaking the concept of a renunciate should be living a detached life from the society. He also praised swami’s contributions in upholding the secular values of India. The citation was presented by PSC Chairman Dr. K.S. Radhakrishnan. He said that swami has perfectly blended the ideas of Indian socio-cultural life style with the modern lifestyle and is able to guide the society to a path of secular spirituality. Meeting was presided over by Kayikkara Babu in which Padmanabha Swami Temple Executive Officer K.N. Sateesh IAS was the chief guest. Suku Palkulangara, Attingal Vijayakumar, S.
