Sweet 4 month old hound sisters Maisy and Caroline came in together about ten days ago. They were very scared and very, very shy. Luckily they have had each other for cuddles and comfort. Its difficult to know that in their four months, these sweet pups had yet to understand that humans are friends. Aiming to end their fears, we took the girls out in the yard to work on socialization yesterday; and they are really making great strides! Once they got a taste of all the belly scratches and hugs we have to offer, they really started to come out of their shells. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but both girls will follow at our side, albeit still a bit cautiously. If you are considering a puppy, please take a look at our Maisy and Caroline.
