✿´´¯`•.¸⁀°♡ Sweet RIA ✿´´¯`•.¸⁀°♡ FOSTER/ADOPT/SHARE!!! A volunteer writes: Ria was found as a stray. She is a small female wearing a fawn and smoke well groomed coat. She looks healthy and well nourished. Ria is very wary. She is amidst so many other dogs, so close to her while she lays in her kennel. She does not get to do the things she used to do before to come to the care center. She lost her home and her people, the only thing she knew... Ria growls in her den. One has to go pass that. She is reluctant to be leashed but does not really argue with me and off we go to the yard. Trust is a big issue for her...For me too but I have a sense that she will not do anything untoward. Ria and I have already had a few walks together. She comes now to me when I call her, looks at me and accepts caresses without any problem. I think she likes it. She definitively looks more relaxed. She does not want to look at my camera and I never was able to obtain good pictures of her pretty face. She sits by my side. I think she has almost accepted me. She seems to like other dogs who come to say hello, big or small, males or females. Ria might remain just as she is now during her stay with us but she could open up more. This is our hope. Still, the best would be for Ria to be in a home with a caring and loving master. Ria is at the Manhattan Care Center, still frozen and yearning to warm up and bloom in your hands.
