Switching gears today... thank goodness... while sometimes it feels right and honest to share deeper parts of my day and life, the exposure also can be at times unsettling. But today is a new day... My son Oliver is done with the first phase of his short film Midland, and is now seeking funds via Indigogo to finish the movie. As youll see I have small part in it and I gotta say, hes a great young director in the making. Still much to learn, but really, really good. Of course as a dad, (and fan) Im helping him some, and have donated to the first phase of the shooting, but I have also let him know that hes now on his own, and has to figure out how to finish the film for himself. Its as a good of lesson as any when it comes to getting your movie made. (Yes, in the end Ill cave, Im sure, but for now I want to see what he is able to do himself.) I told him for now however Ill reach out to friends, here and elsewhere to let him present his case. That much I feel alright about.
