Syed Shafiullah Quadri advocate to contest from Rajendranagar Hyderabad, March 18: Rajendranagar assembly constituency is a very backward area, educationally as well as economically; where the number of voters is 2.90 lakh. Number of Muslim voters is 90 thousand. If any honest Muslim leader is fielded from the constituency he can win the polls with the support of dalits and backward classes. Welfare Party of India who gave Dalit-Muslim unity slogan has nominated young highly educated candidate Syed Shafiullah Quadri advocated, resident of Kishan Bagh from Rajendranagar assembly constituency with an objective of eliminating backwardness of the residents. Syed Shafiullah Quadri advocate completed graduation from Anwar-ul-Uloom College then pursued LLB and LLM from Sultan ul Uloom College of Law. He has been rendering community services for quite long. He told that Welfare Party of India believes in a clean political system. His priorities would be settlement of public issues, abolition of corruption and multifaceted development of the constituency. Mr. Shafiullah hopes that this time backward classes and Muslims of Rajendranagar will vote for a sincere candidate. He revealed that he has been associated with SIO for 14 years. He stressed the need to protect the Waqf properties of Rajendranagar. He would try to acquire government lands for Muslim graveyards. He said MIM might also field its candidate from Rajendranagar thus there will be two Muslim candidates. In such scenario he appealed voters to prefer candidate with clean record and service spirit. He felt that his main competitor would be TDP MLA Prakash Goud.
