Syria, again. If ever there was a demonstration of hubris and mendacity it is with our VP – Uncle Joe Biden. Making the rounds on certain media (not the alphabet water carrier media) is a clip of then Senator Joseph Biden of Delaware calling President G W Bush everything in the book but a Yankee regarding his decision (s) on Iraq. It ends with “Blather, Blather, Yada, Yada, I’ll call for his impeachment for not consulting Congress”. President Bush did consult Congress and he built a coalition of nations to help with the ouster of Hussein. Uncle Joe’s bunk buddy and Nobel Peace Prize winner, who prides himself on “acting with or with congress”, has embarrassingly flopped at coalition building. Maybe President Obama should not have sent the bust of Churchill back to the Brits. Or maybe it was his gift to the Queen of a CD containing President Obama’s speeches and “transformational philosophy” that soured the sauce. Now however, and before jetting off to Europe for the G – 20, President Obama has seen the need to consult Congress; after a few rounds on the links. Next, the status quo Republicans will rubber stamp the President’s attack plan and return to defending America against the real enemy; housewives from Texas that want an accurate vote, and families that want a role in their children’s education. “We have seen the enemy and the enemy is us”.
