System changes go into effect Sunday, September 29th NASHVILLE – Traveling to and from Music City Central on a Nashville MTA bus will soon be faster and easier as MTA makes its biannual system changes to its transportation network on September 29 Avenue now a two-way street, buses will make approximately a half million fewer turns per year and reduce their travel times since they no longer need to circle the block before entering or exiting MCC. Many buses have slight time adjustments and have been assigned new bay numbers at the downtown The new schedules have been placed on the MTA website at nashvillemta.org and will be distributed later this week to various display locations around town, including Music City Central (400 Charlotte Ave.) To assist customers with the changes, MTA has published a Summary of Changes brochure that is available on the MTA website, at Music City Central and on the buses. For more detailed information, customers should review the route schedules or call Customer Care at (615) 862-5950 from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 A summary of the bus route adjustments is attached. 12 Nolensville Pike • Buses for this route will now depart from Bay 19 at Music City Central. This route has several weekday time changes. Please see the route schedule for complete details. 33X Hickory Hollow/Lenox Express • Buses for this route will now depart from Bay 13 at Music City Central. 38X Antioch Express • The downtown routing has changed. • Buses traveling to downtown on 5 from downtown will turn left on 5 • A new midday weekday bus will depart Music City Central at 12:10 p.m., stop at Richards Road and Bowfield at 12:35 p.m., Piccadilly Row and Una Antioch at 12:45 p.m., Una Antioch and Murfreesboro Pike at 12:48 p.m., Bell Road and Smith Springs at 12:54 p.m., Harbour Town Condos at 1:07 p.m., Anderson and Owendale at 1:23 p.m., Belle Road and Edge-0-Lake th Avenue will turn right into Music City Central. Buses traveling th Avenue and right on Charlotte to the current route. at 1:29 p.m. and arrive at Stewarts Ferry and Bell Road at 1:39 p.m. • A weekday bus will depart Stewarts Ferry and Bell Road at 1:40 p.m. and arrive at Music City Central at 2:05 p.m. • Buses for this route will now depart from Bay 7 on the upper level at Music City Central. 39X Cane Ridge Express • Buses for this route will now depart from Bay 21 at Music City Central.
