With more than 40 million people and over 96,000 square miles (250,000 square kilometers), Sao Paulo state is geographically bigger than the U.K. It’s responsible for almost a third of Brazil’s gross domestic product. The main reservoir for the region is in its lowest level ever. It has to rain soon! Hopefully the month of November will bring us the much needed rain.
