TAKING IT TO THE STREETS 2thestreets.org WHAT A DAY OVER 150 PEOPLE CAME OUT TO SERVE. To all of those who came out,to make today such a success, I cant thank you enough. We picked up a mountain of trash. I wish Id taken pictures, hopefully well be able to get some posted later. Its truly a blessing to have partnered with Salvation Army and Uplift to make this day such a great event. We picked up over 750 bags of trash,along with numerous other large items and tires. Along with a host of great volunteers Id like to thank KCMO Parks and Rec for removing the trash, Life Grillers from Life Church in Olathe, KS for providing an awesome lunch and KC Metro Meth Task Force for making sure all areas where clear of harmful chemicals.
