TALKBACK: The Districts DMV has proposed regulations for autonomous vehicles -- cars that operate without a driver actively directing. The regulations would require people to certify they were trained in how to use the vehicle as well as acknowledge theyre responsible for obeying traffic laws, even if theyre not actively driving. Meanwhile, a poll by Harris Interactive shows nearly 90 percent Americans would be worried about riding in a driverless car. What do you think? Would you ride in a driverless car? Would you feel comfortable on the roads with them around you?
