TARA AND I WANT TO THANK ALL OF OUR FRIENDS WHO HAVE BEEN STANDING WITH US - PRAYING AND BELIEVING FOR HER FATHER… Tara was asked to come to see her dad immediately because things looked desperate. She arrived Tuesday and was greeted with the Dr’s report that was given Monday - it said “were sorry but he only has 24 hrs. to live”. From the airport she went directly to the hospital… and it looked like the Drs were right. But God hears prayers and isn’t moved by the words of Drs. When Tara and her family came back Wednesday morning Tara’s dad was sitting up, eating breakfast and laughing, he recognized everyone… Then - all of a sudden he saw Tara (his little girl) he looked at her and said “what are you doing here?” then looking to Cheri he asked “why is Tara here?” in disbelief he looked back to Tara and she told him “I’m here on vacation because I wanted to see you” Lloyd just beamed at that. The following two weeks with her dad and mom were a gift from God, and with him doing so well Tara returned home last Saturday. Tuesday evening we received the news… that Tara’s father had gone home to be with his Father. Tara and her family have felt the strength and peace that came from your prayers. God heard your prayers and it made all the difference - Thank you - Please continue to pray for this wonderful family as they prepare for the upcoming memorial service and then - moving on with life. For sure it will be a different kind of life… it will be life without the man who has meant so much, it will be life without the one who’s been so important, so precious… so huge to each life he touched. Again… please keep Tara in your prayers seeing as I can’t be going with her on this emotion filled trip.
