TATE, Donald L. Sr., 66, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 30, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Tate. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Sherron B. Tate; four children, Donald Tate Jr., Dianna Tate, Deborah Puffenbarger (David) and Darian Elder; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry and Gary Tate; sister, Gloria Gusti; special friend, Tim Elder; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donald retired from Philip Morris with over 30 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and loved movies, but most of all, loved his wife, children and grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Blileys-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 3 with interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park.
