TATE is offering a scholarship for a current individual member to attend the National AATE/ ALEA ‘Capitalising on Curiosity’ conference to be held in Canberra from 3-6 July, 2015. This highly prestigious scholarship covers registration, accommodation and travel expenses. The recipient must: be a current individual member of TATE; demonstrate an interest in and commitment to the teaching of English; demonstrate exemplary teaching practice; provide evidence of commitment to the activities of TATE. Interested members should submit a 500 word (max) expression of interest, endorsed by their Principal (including a commitment that the school will cover relief costs to attend the conference), plus the contact details of one additional referee. Applications are due to the TATE Secretary ([email protected]) by Thursday April 2, 2015. The Scholarship recipient will complete a post conference report to be printed in our State journal – EduTATE and to be published online on the TATE website.
