*** TAXI CAMPAIGN UPDATE *** A LONG BUT EXCITING POST Heres some more news on what weve been up to with your recent feedback! The SUs Democracy and Development Officer, Rob Ankcorn, has posted a brief video updating you all on the background to our recent campaign and what came out of it: youtube/watch?v=UnruFZ6B-Jw This week, we were also in correspondence with the House of Lords regarding the proposed Taxi Deregulation Bill. The SU got a mention in the Chamber while the bill was being debated - skip to timeframe 17:50:40 here to see footage of the discussion: parliamentlive.tv/Main/Player.aspx?meetingId=16105 As a result of this activity, we also have now launched a TAXI COMPLAINTS FORM on the SU website so that you can report any incidents of being refused service directly to us and we can pass this information on to the relevant authorities for processing: warwicksu/campaigns/taxis/ Once again, this is a great example of what can happen when we use our collective voice to improve things for students - many thanks to everyone who worked on the campaign or sent in their feedback!
