TAXPAYERS RALLY AND CLASS SUIT VS. THE "PORK BARREL" SYSTEM With a million citizen-taxpayers expected to participate in a condemnation rally against the pork barrel system, its corrupt proponents and political patrons on August 26, 2013 at 9:00 am in Luneta. We call on our fellow Filipinos to condemn the graft-ridden "pork barrel" funds usage, seek legal action before a court of law to stop, penalize those responsible and recover those public funds. Join us in a motorcade to Luneta on August 26, 2013 at 8:00 am starting from Quezon Memorial Circle to Quezon Avenue, with short pit stops in Welcome Rotonda, Espana infront of UST, Plaza Miranda in Quiapo, Liwasang Bonifacio infront of Post Office and to our final destination at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta, Manila. This is a non-partisan, citizen-taxpayers action against the graft-ridden "pork barrel" fund system, and to press our demand for ethical leadership and good governance in all levels of government.
