TBT: A Week in the Life, cont. This is my entrance as Ginter, with a laundry list of the stops he made that morning before coming into work. You might think this was an exaggeration, but the real Ginter had this many stops, and sometimes more, on many mornings. Ginter is based on my good friend, the one-of-a-kind single father, obsessive Beatles fan and UFO enthusiast, Michael MP Ginter. There are few people Ive ever known who try as hard day in and day out to manage with the difficulties of life, and do it with such character. And I can relate to his life and the portrayal of it in this show more now than ever. Thanks to director Elaine for the great suggestion about the extra sugar, and I think it was Roseann, or possibly Matt Mooney (as Gino), who came up with the tabulations of his stops on the calculator. (Or that may also have been Elaines idea.) Some nice funny touches there, though. Also featured again are Melissa Cumming, Kevin Smith and Susana Breese. This scene sets up the thing Ill share next week, where Ginter wishes that he had been The Fifth Beatle.
