#TBT As a young teen I took a bus downtown, by myself, to meet Andy Warhol, who was showing his latest work at an art exhibit. I awkwardly stood in line for awhile, said hi, asked him a dumb question, and he signed a couple weird things I brought along.No photos, no video, no cell phones. No record of the event. Practically the middle ages.Then, a few years ago I was looking it up online, hoping I could get an idea of when (I couldnt even remember the year),and I found this video. Watched it, and saw myself. My height and freaky hair bangs were the giveaway.Kind of cool, since I probably have 5 photos of myself from my teens...and it reminded me what a really brave young girl I was.
