#TBT In 1964 the 100th meeting of Lafayette & Lehigh ended with a tie and received national media coverage with pregame press conferences held in Bethlehem, Easton, New York and Philadelphia. Promotional activities included the distribution of 1 million commemorative matchbooks, souvenir glasses, and game programs. More than 19,000 people attended the game at Lafayettes Fisher Field and play had to be stopped a few times because players could not hear the signals over the noise from the crowd. The ball used for the opening kickoff was retired to the Hall of Fame in New Jersey.
