#TBT My grandma Vitalia R. Sanchez was pretty much, hands down, the single MOST IMPORTANT and MOST AMAZING person I have EVER had in my life. She raised me from a little boy until I was 16 and taught me everything I needed to know about life. She insisted on keeping God and Family at the forefront of my mind and life. She took care of me when I was sick, drove me to school, fed me, clothed me, took me to baseball practice, took me on vacation, taught me how to cook, clean and do laundry, sew, bake, took me to church every Sunday, taught me how to pray and the importance of keeping in touch with family and keeping the family together, preparing for the future and no matter what TO ALWAYS HAVE FAITH IN GOD. I have never really posted pictures of her because, quite frankly, I never really talk about her since she passed over 10 years ago because that means I would have to admit that she was actually gone. I love living in Denver because I get to visit and spend time with her sisters and brother often which are as close as I can get to being with her. Well tonight I want to proudly introduce my grandma Vitalia to everyone who never had the pleasure of knowing her or meeting her. She was an AWESOME and INCREDIBLE woman and I am so fortunate to be her grandson and to live with her for so many years. I love you grandma and I always will. May you rest in peace and may God bless your soul.
