TBT......On September 23, 1985, we left for work around 6:30-7:00 a.m. At approximately 4:50 p.m. my Mom called me at work in Owensville and said a fire call had come in and our house was on fire. We lived at Bay, Mo. about 20 miles from work. So many things go through your mind, the kids, it cant be the house....the kids went to Hermann schools and fortunately Brian had stopped by to check about his new job and Michelle had gone to Leona Kottwitz Kurrelmeyers for a haircut.
