TCRC recap from 8/30. Had a good overall run, only ran one class, but still had a ball. We had a good turnout considering the holiday weekend and the 95 degree heat. I think the new track changes were a big hit! The track feels so much faster now, and it was fun. We had one incident in the new cross-over section, which was the result of a disabled car that was trying to get off the track and out of the way. Ran 2wd buggy yesterday, first off, it felt good just to be back out there. Amanda Dave Osborne was on fire with his B5, nobody could catch him. Timothy Stollings wasnt far behind either. Had a great overall day, and unfortunately, the lap timing kinda took some laps from Dave, the guy was running away from us but somehow ended up in 3rd. Not sure what happened there, but we all know he was the A-Main winner. Best race of the day was the 2wd SC main, little Luke Stollings led the race from the TQ position for the entire 10 minute main. Tim Stollings tried to reel him in, and closed the gap a few times, but Luke kept his cool and took the victory without ever losing the lead. Great job Luke! Thanks to Jaymz Mynes for helping with the computer issue, again you were the lifesaver! Hoping the weather holds out for next weekend, doesnt look good right now, but it is early! Hope to see you all out there again next week!
