TDP leader Yanamala alleges corruption in Chanchalguda. HYDERABAD: Senior TDP leader YanamalaRamakrishnudu on Wednesday dashed off a letter to Union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde seeking a probe into what he called high-level malpractices and illegal activities at Chanchalguda prison where YSR Congress leader YSJaganmohan Reddy and many others linked with CBI inquiries are imprisoned. In his three-page letter describing the alleged unlawful activities with the help of jail authorities, Yanamala demanded that cell phones and internet usage be banned with the help of jammers. "All transactions occurring in the jail, including mulaqats, should be monitored by installing CCTV cameras and close monitoring of procedures in accordance with the prison manual," he said.TOI
