*TEAM JACOB UPDATE* Well sometimes a hardship can turn into a Blessing. Jacob has had a severe wound on his heel for quite some time. The Doctor actually recasted him after his stitching came out and instead of stitching it up he left it open. This has caused a major set back in his rehabilitation. The wound continues to stay open and not heal. Well....he has been going to a wound care doctor and Joie asked him about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy which has worked wonders for a great deal of brain injury patients. Now it has not been approved through insurance for TBI but it is known to have great benefits to help heal wounds more quickly through pure oxygen. Jacob has been approved for treatment and it begins tomorrow! So, due to this wound that has been very difficult for Jacob and the family has turned into getting Jacob a treatment that we have been praying for, for a very long time!! God is good all the time! Jacob is excited and nervous all at the same time. 2 hours a day 5 days a week for 2 weeks. Requesting that all of our Prayer Warriors pray that this treatment heals Jacob so that he can be at his fullest potential to get ready to go to Shepheds in Atlanta as soon as possible. Thank you!
