TEMPTATION AND SIN There is a great difference between sin and temptation;and God does not tempt anyone;however,temptation comes when we give in to our evil desires/lust.Being of sinful nature is not itself a sin,but allowing that nature to control our mind and dictate our actions then it is sin;so when tempted,and give in to our lusts we sin,and the result of sin is death. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. [James 1:13-15 KJV]
