TEN THINGS YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT ME From Jimmo Garcia tag --- Write down ten things about you that i don’t know yet and you don’t mind sharing. no judgment, no fear, no regrets. Heres my list: 1. I love food so I took a short cooking class before and loved it but when I learned that cooking schools were so expensive I took design instead. Thank you lord. 2. I was so quiet when I was young that I would be able to count my words in 24 hours. 60 was my record. I started talking more when I was 18. 3. I love the rain, when it is rainy I can use it as an excuse not to go out and just stay at home and do what I want. 4. My dad taught me how to talk to people ( he was scared because I was so quiet) and my mom taught me how to work (she pushed me) thus my work ethics and disposition. 5. What started me to take illustration was a manga artist. Shirow Miwa. I fell in love with designing because of my first mentor in advertising. 6. 8pm to 2am and 8-10 hours in the weekend I am practicing by designing something. Sorry if I am sleepy in the morning. Been doing it for 6 years and have clocked in an approximate of 16, 000+ hours. This defuncts the idea of 10,000 hours and you will be an expert because I feel there is a lot more to learn in my field. 7. Most of my family still does not know what I do for a living. This is normal for being born into a Chinese clan. 8. I started my career when I was third year in college. After my internship they hired me because I wouldnt leave since I was learning much more there than in school. I took my thesis alongside a 3 week pitch. 9. I am a frustrated musician. I have already resigned to the fact that I am tone deaf. 10. I love badminton. The only sport I would play for hours....if I had time now. I tag Ramon de Leon Laurice Chan Jash Manuel Clarice Ilustre Elora Que Monnik Togle Alex Malto Jimmo Garcia Here is my list. :-)
